Xiao Jiu Chapter 4

13.

The little servant girl, Pearl, waited all night outside Xiao Wangye’s bedroom. Seeing Xiao Wangye’s dejected look when he came back, she cried from agitation [1].

“Gongzi, why didn’t you tell us about spending the night outside? Everyone was so anxious, they couldn’t sleep.” Pearl followed Xiao Wangye from behind as she wiped her tears and complained.

Xiao Wangye was absentmindedly listening to her, just casually answering with an “en.” However, Pearl was really worried so she continued to chatter on and on.

“You can’t be like this in the future. You are the prince. How can you be so casual? There are so many people who have bad intentions outside the palace. If they rob you, the consequences will be too horrible to imagine…”

Xiao Wangye’s mind was preoccupied, but she was so noisy right now that he couldn’t think in peace. Sighing, he thought of how this little servant girl nagged too much. He feared that, in the future, it would be difficult for her to get married.

Pearl, on the other hand, thought that although she wasn’t married yet, she already had the heart of an old mother. In the future, she will surely teach her children well and be appreciated by the husband’s family.

14.

When Xiao Wangye finally pacified Pearl, he secretly went back to his room and changed his pants that had already dried.

Afterwards, he propped his head against the windowsill, laying still as he stared blankly.

Xiao Wangye couldn’t remember what he dreamed of last night. All he remembered was that, in his dream, there was this throb and desire that would burst through his chest. That kind of feeling was so unfamiliar, it scared him.

With brocade garments and jade meals [2], Xiao Wangye had grown this big, yet it was his first time being this distressed. He was anxious to find someone to talk about it, but he didn’t know who.

Xiao Wangye didn’t have a mother-consort [3]. His mother-consort was once the Old Emperor’s favorite concubine, but she died soon after giving birth to Xiao Wangye. Since then, the Old Emperor has transferred all his favor to him.

Although the Old Emperor loved him very much, he knew intuitively that he could not talk to the Old Emperor. The old emperor was already concerned with the country and the people; he couldn’t worry him about his peeing in pants problem.

Having no parents to pour out his mind to, he could only seek from the people around him. However, the little servant girl certainly wouldn’t understand, much less the little eunuchs.

After thinking about it, Xiao Wangye decided to find his si-huangxiong [4].

15.

Talking about this, the Old Emperor had nine sons. Apart from the Taizi and Xiao Wangye, the other seven had no good future.

They were not promising and had no future prospects. However, each had their own strengths. For example, this Fourth Prince had intensively read all kinds of books. His knowledge basically covered everything, except for what the teacher would teach in class.

Xiao Wangye sat in the Fourth Prince’s residence, sipping on the tea with reserve while waiting for his huangxiong to answer his questions and clear up the confusion.

Who would’ve thought that the Fourth Prince would start laughing when he had barely listened to the beginning.

“It seems our Xiao Jiu is all grown up now,” said the Fourth Prince as he stood up and tenderly patted Xiao Wangye’s head. “Let’s take a walk. Elder brother will take you out to see the world.”

Xiao Wangye didn’t know where to see the world, and since he didn’t know the place, he nodded and went out of the palace in the Fourth Prince’s carriage.

It so happened that the moment they stepped out of the palace gates, they encountered the Little Emperor’s carriage. Yan-daren was sitting in front of the carriage. The Little Emperor lifted the carriage curtain to say something to him, and Yan-daren nodded meekly, with no trace of annoyance on his face.

Xiao Wangye couldn’t help but glance at him more, and when Yan-daren raised his head, their eyes met. Xiao Wangye shyly lowered his head.

16.

Xiao Wangye changed his clothes with si-huangxiong to disguise themselves, and then they entered the Autumn Pleasure Pavillion.

It was commonly known as a stop-over brothel.

The Fourth Prince was a frequent visitor here. Holding the most popular courtesan in one hand, he patted Xiao Wangye on the back and said, “Oh Xiao Jiu, don’t be embarrassed. Today, I will let you try the taste of being a man.”

Xiao Wangye didn’t quite understand. Seeing so many beautiful jiejies [5] around him, he stared blankly, at a loss in what to do.

All the girls around him laughed and pinched his pretty little face to tease him. “Xiao gongzi, why are you so shy? Don’t be afraid. The jiejies won’t eat you.”

There was a burst of a strong smell of rogue powder, and the smell lingered around the tip of his nose. Xiao Wangye sneezed. Sniffing, he kinda regretted having looked for si-huangxiong.

A girl next to him asked, “Do you have anyone you like?”

Xiao Wangye blinked. “What do you mean by ‘like’?”

The girls giggled again. Leaning against Xiao Wangye, she said, “Naturally, it means you want to sleep with her.”

Hearing this, Xiao Wangye’s heart suddenly burst. At that moment, the mystery that had been coiling in his heart for several days seemed to be loosening. He suddenly recalled the person he had seen in his dream that night.

“Wow, it seems you have a sweetheart! Tell your jiejies what kind of girl she is.”

Xiao Wangye’s palms were sweating a bit. His face red, he said honestly on the spot: “He [6], he is very tall.”

“What about her figure?”

Xiao Wangye thought about it and said, “The chest is very big.”

The girls made a fuss. “Aiyo, I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that. I’m so ashamed.”

At this time, the door of the side-room was suddenly kicked open from the outside. The air was quiet for a moment. The people looked up in panic, only to see an imperial bodyguard wielding a blade and standing outside the door with a sullen face.

The bodyguard had a tall build and a handsome face.

And as Xiao Wangye said, his chest was indeed very big.
