I love reading and talking about danmei, and I hope to one day write an original BL story set in my own country.

On Writing

Because words are first outlined in the heart, so if your heart has a ravine, then your words would have a ravine; if your heart has a sea in it, then your words would also contain the sea.

On Love

What is love in this world? It’s just a matter of reducing someone to new lows.

The Husky and His White Cat Shizun

2HA is a wild ride from start to finish. I started from wanting Mo Ran to drop dead to wanting to cradle him in my arms and protect him from the world. His character development was so well-written that you wouldn’t even recognize him by the end of the story.

If You Don’t Fall in Love, You’ll Die

If You Don’t Fall in Love, You’ll Die is a very fun and light-hearted romance story about Ye Chen falling in love with Ren Jing as he carries out the shameless tasks issued by the Death System. There was never one chapter that I wasn’t laughing at Ye Chen’s stupid antics and excuses whenever he does a task.

Reborn as a System

RAAS is different. ML world-hops with MC and retains his memory from the previous world when he crosses over.

You’ve Got Mail: A Cautionary Tale

What I like most about this novel is that, despite it being light-hearted, it doesn’t lack on plot, depth, and angst. There’s papapa, yes, and lots of it too, but it’s not all about it. We get to see the main couple slowly seeing each other in a different light, struggling with their feelings, before finally allowing themselves to love and be loved.

Death Progress Bar

Death Progress Bar is probably the most well-balanced danmei novel I’ve ever read. The pacing is neither too slow nor too fast. The plot seems simple but turns out to be more complex as you read on. There’s also the right amount of tension and action to keep you at the edge of your seats.
